چکیده

Abstract This paper is devoted to discrete mechanical systems subject external forces. We introduce a version of with Rayleigh-type forces, obtain the equations motion and characterize equivalence for these systems. Additionally, we Noether’s theorem other characterizing Lie subalgebra symmetries forced Lagrangian system. Moreover, develop Hamilton–Jacobi theory Hamiltonian These results are useful construction so-called variational integrators, which, as illustrate some examples, remarkably superior usual numerical integrators such Runge–Kutta method.

Theory : Coding Theorems for Discrete Memoryless Systems

The modern study of transmission and storage of information through noisy communication channels goes back to Claude E. Shannon [4]. It is very rare that an intellectual discipline is initiated from scratch, and its framework fully given, as well as its many basic theorems proven by the initiator–but that’s exactly what Shannon did. This has made Shannon a very tough act to follow. By its natur...

Discrete Decomposition of Discrete Forces

We prove that any discrete equilibrated system of forces can be decomposed into finitely many bars. We provide an estimate on the cost and the norm of the endpoints of the bars of that decomposition. The questions we address here are of interest in elasticity theory, optimal designs, as well as in functional analysis.

a new type-ii fuzzy logic based controller for non-linear dynamical systems with application to 3-psp parallel robot

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

A Robust Control Design Technique for Discrete-Time Systems

A robust state feedback design subject to placement of the closed loop eigenvalues in a prescribed region of unit circle is presented. Quantitative measures of robustness and disturbance rejection are investigated. A stochastic optimization algorithm is used to effect trade-off between the free design parameters and to accomplish all the design criteria. A numerical example is given to illustra...

Patterning in systems driven by nonlocal external forces.

This work focuses on systems displaying domain patterns resulting from competing external and internal dynamics. To this end, we introduce a Lyapunov functional capable of describing the steady states of systems subject to external forces, by adding nonlocal terms to the Landau Ginzburg free energy of the system. Thereby, we extend the existing methodology treating long-range order interactions...
